March 1st is the Annual International Women with Epilepsy Day (IWWED)!
Today is International Women with Epilepsy Day! This has been a vision of mine for several years to have a day devoted to EMPOWER Women and Girls Living with Epilepsy in EVERY corner of the World and it is so exciting to see the day finally arrive. I am thankful for everyone that has made this day possible from my assistant Jackie, to my husband, to our board members, and especially for each woman and girl living with epilepsy as well as the families that have lost their wives or daughters to epilepsy. Each of these stories are powerful and will change the lives of millions of women and girls diagnosed each year with epilepsy.
At My Epilepsy Story (MES), we are going to ‘Bridge the Gap’ by Advocating, Researching and Educating for these young girls and women. It is important to not only bring awareness but also to address the unique needs that females living with epilepsy have. At MES, we believe that Together We Can begin to change the lives of millions of young women and girls living with epilepsy! Please join with us on March 1st by showing support on social media using #IWWED & #MES & #SheSeizesPower, within your local community as well as donating for International Women with Epilepsy Day (IWWED). I am so excited to have each of you join with me!
Please join with us today and everyday to EMPOWER Women and Girls Living with Epilepsy in EVERY corner of the World as well as the providers that selflessly care for them each day.
XOXO,
Brandy
