PAST EVENT: 2022 IWWE Annual Seminar
My Epilepsy Story (MES) and Brigham and Women’s Hospital are proud to present the second annual International Women with Epilepsy Day Seminar! Dedicated leaders in the field will be speaking to share their experiences and answer questions to expand understanding of common issues in treating epilepsy in women and girls of all ages. Our goal is to increase awareness of these complexities and brainstorm how to overcome these challenges through advocacy, research, and education. All medical students, residents, fellows, and other practicing physicians are invited to participate in learning more about the intersection of Women’s Health and Epilepsy.
Our keynote speakers are specialists: Dr. P. Emanuela Voinescu of Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Dr. Mary A. O’Neal, Director of Brigham and Women’s Neurology Program.
